Mia Kawamitsu
Mia is a senior at ALHS, and this is her fourth year on the newspaper staff. Along with being an avid foodie, dog lover, and pun enthusiast, she is involved in speech, band, tennis, and Kindness Club. She is also the Vice President of her school’s National Honor Society chapter and founded the Model United Nations club at her school. Mia spent her sophomore year in Japan as the Echoes’ international correspondent and hopes to pursue her interest in domestic and world affairs in college and work on international peace-building in the future.
