The All Care Health Bus provides confidential care to students across the Council Bluffs School District. On Wednesdays the bus provides free care to Abraham Lincoln students.
“The point of the bus is to provide high school accessible care. We help to make sure kids are staying up to date on vaccines and have care for their mental health,” said Doctor Elizabeth Anderson
The medical bus offers mental health services to all students and staff regardless of ability to pay. Walk-ins are welcome, and appointments are easy to schedule by calling (712)-309-1711.
You can visit the All Care Health Bus: Mondays at Carter Lake (8:30AM-3:30PM), Tuesdays at Thomas Jefferson (8:30AM-3:00PM), Wednesdays here at Abraham Lincoln (8:30PM-3:30PM), Thursdays at Kanesville (9:00AM-3:00PM), and Fridays at Wilson and Kirn (8:30AM-12PM).
The bus provides sports physicals for athletes, immunizations, sick visits, exams and help with managing chronic conditions with school work for students who qualify.
“Having care near school allows students to become more accountable for their health: making their own appointments, becoming their own proxies, having confidential conversations, and holding access to their past records,” said Dr. Anderson.
