Many places nearby are opening their doors for fun holiday events, activities, and more.
The Durham Museum in Omaha is hosting a Christmas event including Omaha’s official Christmas tree. There will also be holiday concerts to enjoy and a Santa photoshoot. Quaker Steak and Lube, (located in Council Bluffs) is also offering a holiday breakfast on December 16th. It also features a craft table and photos with Santa. There will be a Holiday Light Festival throughout The Old Market, North Omaha, and South Omaha from Conagra, in their “Shine the Light On Hunger” Program. The Omaha Playhouse has a show of the classic “A Christmas Carol”; It will have realistic Victorian-era costumes, festive music, and unique scenery. The Dodge house is hosting a Breakfast with Santa, with arts and crafts, a reading of “The Night Before Christmas”, and photo opportunities. The Emmanuel Lutheran Church has a ‘Cookies and Cocoa with Santa’ event on December 10th, which will also have Christmas-themed crafts. Santa must spend a lot of time in Council Bluffs and Omaha with all these events.
