We can all remember the day we were all told what year we would graduate and we all saw this day as a million years away, but today, today is that day.
We’ve all experienced so many things since those elementary days. The fun days in P.E. with the huge parachute, the field days, the dances, the football games. All of it. The time from then to now has seemed long each day but looking back feels like just yesterday we were having class parties and pizza parties. Remember these memories and take them with you into your new adventures.
Graduates, Today is an exciting day! It starts a new time in your life. The time between childhood and adulthood. The time between not being old enough to do anything and too old to do anything because of jobs and kids. Now is the time to explore the world and its vast wonders. Right now is a time that’s up to you to decide what to do. Now may be the last time to create new memories and “parent lore”.
So Congratulations to all seniors for the accomplishment they have seen through and good job honoring your “5th grade promise” to succeed.
For those of us who aren’t graduating, remember to enjoy the moments you’re having now. Create fun memories. Go out with friends, go to sports games, and plan road trips. Make the most of the time with them before you all graduate and go your separate ways.
Congratulations to all of our Graduates; We wish you well in your next adventures, and just remember that “Every day is a Great Day to be a Lynx!” (Mr. Novotny)
