You don’t need money, you don’t need fame, you don’t need a credit card to ride this train. These are the tenets listed in the song “The Power of Love” by the band Huey Lewis and the News. Originally written for the movie “Back to the Future”, the first movie to achieve time travel, it describes that love is not something you can hold, buy, or get by fame. Anyone can have the power of love, but what is this power? What can you achieve with this power? What does this power grant the user? These answers were thought long forgotten, lost to the panels of history like the mere people, or Bigfoot, or the ancient race known as the Chosen.
Love can not be held, as said previously. However, there is a quantitative measure of it which is Marriage. 4.3% is the latest international marriage rate. But this is not talking about the quality of love, which goes on a scale of “Arranged Marriages” to “The Power of Love”. So what qualitative measure can help discern the power of love? It is called the “Amore Quotient”, able to measure the level of love in a relationship. It is calculated like this;
AQ = (L + C + R)/T.
AQ is the Amore Quotient, L is the level of affection, C is the compatibility, R is the romance factor, and T denotes the time spent together. The higher the AQ, the more powerful the love.
Now we have a way to measure love, but we still need to learn its power. Let’s take it back to the ancient Mayan people. There is a hidden message in every Mayan clock calendar, some took this as a warning of an apocalypse in 2012. But, in truth, it was a warning of the power. It tells that the location to learn the power of love is an ancient monastery in the Rocky Mountains, where priests trained for years to learn it. I traveled to this monastery and posed as one of the priests, I saw the power firsthand. They could summon a love shield and love weapons out of thin air. I also saw them heal wounds, commune with the dead, foresee the future, and summon a title wave of love to drown people in love.
I was unable to attain this power, as I quickly found out as an imposter and was thrown off the side of the mountain. Thankfully I fell on a giant mattress I was able to walk it off.
I discovered how to achieve this power. To achieve the power of love you must fill your head with nothing but Huey Lewis and the News and deprive yourself of love. This will open your 4th eye and allow you to see feelings, and harness the power of love.
