How does it feel to have won the mayoral race?
I’m thrilled and honored that the citizens have chosen me to serve as the mayor of this great city. This victory belongs to everyone who believes in our community’s potential and future. I’m ready to get to work for all of you.
What will you do while in office?
I will focus on building a city that works for everyone. That means investing in safer neighborhoods, improving infrastructure, supporting small businesses, and expanding access to affordable housing. I will also be highly focused on addressing the issue of homelessness in our community. I want to make the city government more transparent and responsive, so every resident can trust that their voice matters.
What are you looking forward to the most?
I’m most looking forward to getting to work — meeting with our department heads, understanding the challenges and opportunities in each area, and starting to make progress for our residents. It’s exciting to move from campaigning to governing and to begin turning ideas into action. We have excellent city staff, and I’m looking forward to working with them as we bring a sense of pride back to the community I love and continue moving our city forward together.
Why did you run?
I ran because I care deeply about this community and want to serve. My priority is working hard for our residents.
