Every year, there are always new ‘it’ gifts, that one item everyone has on their Christmas list. Parents rush to get it even though they have no clue what it is, so what’s the ‘it’ gift this year? 

Freshman Tenley Cleveland says the gift at the top of her list is a LEGO flower set.

“I really want this LEGO flower set for Christmas. I found out about it by looking in the stores, and I really wanted them because they looked really pretty, and my friend has one, but different, and it looks really pretty,” said Tenley 

Lego sets have always been popular among collectors, but recently flower Lego sets have gained a ton of popularity, making it a top gift for kids.

Junior Josie Solon says she wants a new HydroJug for Christmas.

“I want a HydroJug, because they are spill-proof and I want a bigger size than the cup I already have,” said Josie. “ I actually want this gift, because when I get a new cup, I actually drink a lot more water for the first like 3 months of having the cup.”

New water bottles are always a popular gift, especially around christmas because there is always a new trending one. Josie said she got the idea from TikTok and seeing other people have them.

Senior Rowan Schmidt says he really wants the Switch 2 because of the different games it has.

“I want a Switch 2 because of all of the games that are on it that I want to play, like DK Banaza, Mario Kart Worlds, and a couple others.” 

Senior Caden Kollin also wants a Switch 2 for Christmas; however, he just wants it because of his friend.

“I want a Switch 2 because my friend Rowan wants it.”
