Student Council is hosting a Talent Show on Friday, March 20, at 6 pm in the Auditorium.
Junior Alan Larson plays the drums and is excited to be presented with the opportunity to play them in front of his peers.
“I was presented with an opportunity to show my particular skill,” said Larson. “Which doesn’t come often at all.”
Sophomore Mickayla Reed is singing and is passionate about music and the opportunity to show off her talent.
”The reason why I’m doing the talent show is that I was hoping to get some experience on stage,” said Reed. “It seemed like something fun to do.”
Student Council member junior Caleb Philmon said he is looking forward to the musical aspect of this because he knows a few people are singing, and that will be a great experience for the student body.
“As a student council, we were trying to develop ideas on what’s something fun and interactive for the student body,” said Philmon. “We decided to do the talent show because we think it would not only be a great experience for everybody who wants to be involved in it and show their talent, but also for the student body to see their fellow classmates do something spectacular and something a little bit out of the box.”
